    About This Art

First glance: charcoal grey. Second glance: the star chart doing something smarter. The dotted ring and ruled border turn a simple constellation into a small piece of graphic design, and that is what makes it hold a wall. Put it up and a pale room gets a fixed point — something dark and quiet to steady all the beige and white around it. It earns its keep on a narrow stretch of wall, above a bedside table, in a study alcove or beside a doorway where a bigger piece would crowd. Pair it with dark wood, black metal, linen and stoneware. Don't hang it next to bright, busy colour prints; the worn texture and soft black get shouted down. Keep its neighbours calm. As a canvas the aged, printed texture reads softly and there's no glare.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

    Made responsibly
FSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will one square constellation piece look lost on its own?

On a small or narrow wall, no — the dark circle gives it enough weight to hold the spot by itself. On a wide sofa wall it can look undersized, so either go up a size tier or pair it with two or three more star signs in a tight square grid with even gaps.

Is the Gemini constellation actually readable from across the room?

Yes. The stars are drawn as solid off-white dots joined by thin lines against a very dark ground, so the twin shape reads clearly from two or three metres away. The word underneath is small, though, so it only becomes legible when you step closer.

Does it work in a room with warm wood and warm white walls?

It does. The background is a paper-like off-white with a soft grey-brown cast rather than a cold white, so it sits happily against warm walls, oak and walnut. The charcoal centre reads as a deep soft black rather than a hard graphic black, which keeps it from feeling stark.
