    About This Art

    Even the linen in here starts looking expensive next to bright blue. Put this up and the wall stops being background — the blue holds the room and everything else reads cleaner and quieter around it. It works above a low sofa, over a bed, or on a wide wall in a hallway where you catch it as you pass. Keep the furnishings simple: pale wood, off-white fabric, a bit of chrome or steel, plain white ceramics. Skip busy pattern nearby, and don't crowd it with warm gold or heavy dark wood — the cool blue does better with cool company. As canvas the blue reads matt and slightly softer, with no reflection off the surface.

    Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Is the blur part of the artwork or a quality issue?

    The softness is intentional. The horse and rider are deliberately out of focus so they read as a glowing shape inside the blue rather than a sharp photograph. At normal viewing distance of two to four metres it looks like a smooth wash of colour, which is exactly the effect it's made for.

    Will this much blue take over a small room?

    It will lead the room, so plan for that. In a small bedroom or hallway choose a medium size and keep the surrounding walls plain white or soft grey. In a larger living room you can go big above the sofa, as long as there's clear wall on either side to let the colour settle.

    What wall colour works behind it?

    Chalky off-white, soft grey and pale blue-grey all work, because they let the blue stay the brightest thing on the wall. Warm cream and beige walls fight it slightly. A deep navy wall also works if you want it to glow, though the pale horse shape will do most of the visual work.
