Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

The gold sits on the warmer, slightly brown end — closer to aged or antique gold than a bright yellow. Against the deep black ground it reads as warm and lamplit rather than shiny or showy, which is why it tends to suit evening rooms with lamps on rather than bright daylight spaces.

It will work on a pale wall, but the contrast jumps — the black ground reads as a hard rectangle against off-white. It looks most considered on a darker painted wall (charcoal, ink blue, deep green, oxblood) where the black ground softens and the gold lines do the lifting.

The geometry is dense but strictly symmetrical, so it reads as one strong shape rather than visual noise. Behind a dining table it tends to settle once the table, chairs and a few candles are in front of it. Avoid pairing it with patterned wallpaper or another busy artwork on the same wall.
