'Too safe,' said nobody standing in front of deep red. This one runs on warm lamplight: a ginger cat in round sunglasses, one paw on the record, and a whole room glowing rust behind him. Put it up and the corner it lives in stops being storage and starts being a listening spot. It suits a wall above a record shelf, a sideboard or a small writing desk, at eye level so the face meets you head on. Pair it with teak or rosewood, ribbed rust upholstery, a warm-toned lampshade and one mint or sage ceramic to echo the turntable. Don't crowd it with other loud pieces or hang it under cold white downlights — warm lamps and a bit of breathing room do all the work. Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

What's your return policy?
If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.
We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Will the deep red tones look too heavy on a white wall?
No. On plain white or off-white the reds read as a warm block of colour and the wall acts like a mount, which makes the ginger cat stand out more. If you want it softer, hang it near a lamp so the light and the print share the same warmth. On a dark wall it feels moodier and more like a snug.
Is it too jokey to hang in a main living room?
It plays it fairly straight. The lighting, the mint green turntable and the shadowy window are photographic rather than cartoonish, so it reads as a warm evening scene first and the sunglasses land as a second look. Hang it at eye level over a sideboard or record shelf and it behaves like a proper picture, not a novelty.
What size works for a record corner or alcove?
Medium is the sweet spot for a shelf or sideboard about 90–120cm wide, sitting roughly 20–25cm above the top. In a wider alcove or above a sofa, go large so the cat's face reads from across the room. Below A3 the whiskers, glasses and record grooves start to lose their punch.
