    About This Art

Somewhere between Bridget Riley and mid-century modern, this abstract refuses to behave. The lines look still until you walk past, then the whole surface seems to move. In a plain room it does the work of texture without adding clutter, and the mustard yellow warms up cream and grey walls that can feel flat. Hang it at eye level on a clear stretch of wall, above a low sideboard, or in a hallway where people pass close enough to catch the ripple. Pale wood, cane, cream bouclé and simple stoneware all sit happily with it. Keep busy patterned wallpaper and other strong graphic pieces well away — this one needs room to breathe. On fine-art paper the line work stays crisp and the cream ground reads soft.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

    Made responsibly
FSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the fine lines still read clearly at a smaller size?

Yes, up to a point. At small sizes the lines start to merge into a flat warm yellow field from across the room, which some people like. If you want the ripple effect to stay obvious, go medium or larger and hang it where people pass within a couple of metres.

Is the yellow bright or more muted?

It sits on the muted side — a warm mustard rather than a sharp lemon or gold. Against the cream background it reads as a soft glow rather than a strong colour block, so it warms up off-white and grey walls without shouting or clashing with other warm tones in the room.

Does the square shape work above a sofa?

It can, if the sofa is small or you hang it slightly off-centre alongside a floor lamp or plant. Above a wide three-seater a single square can look lost, so either size up to a large format or pair it with a second square of the same size, spaced evenly.
