    About This Art

What it adds isn't clutter. It's loose brushwork tension in the right places. A kitchen wall goes flat fast once the shelves are tidy and the worktops are clear, and this is the piece that puts warmth and movement back in. The orange has enough punch to lift a beige room without shouting, and the scratchy black lines keep it from feeling like polite decor. Hang it above a sideboard, in a breakfast corner, or on the short wall beside a dining table. It sits happily with pale wood, stoneware, terracotta and warm off-white paint. Don't crowd it with busy patterned tiles or lots of small photo frames; it needs a bit of clear wall to breathe. On fine-art paper the brush edges and dry-drag marks stay crisp.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the orange clash with a terracotta or clay-toned kitchen?

No. The orange here is a warm, slightly muted burnt shade rather than a bright citrus pop, so it sits comfortably with terracotta tiles, clay pots and warm plaster. The bigger risk is pink or cool red joinery, where the two warmths pull against each other. Against wood, stone and cream it simply looks like more of the same family.

Is it too big a subject for a small kitchen wall?

It fills its frame, which actually helps in a small space: one clear shape reads better than lots of fine detail. Aim for a medium portrait size on a wall of at least 60cm and leave clear space either side. In a galley kitchen, the end wall or the space beside a doorway usually works better than above a busy worktop.

Does it still work outside the kitchen?

Yes. Food subjects handled this loosely read as modern still life rather than kitchen decor, so it holds its own in a dining corner, a living room shelf wall or a home office. The warm beige ground helps it settle in rooms with wood furniture and neutral paint rather than looking themed.
