    About This Art

Unlike most dog art, this doesn't wait for approval. It's a greyhound pulled together from hundreds of restless black lines, and it puts energy into a wall that has gone flat. Rooms with lots of soft texture — linen, cane, painted walls — get the sharp edge they were missing. Hang it at eye level in a hallway, above a low sideboard, or on a study wall you look at all day. Keep the company simple: black metal, pale wood, one plant, plenty of empty wall around it. Don't crowd it with other busy patterns or heavy florals; the scribble needs breathing space to read as a dog rather than a tangle. On fine-art paper the finest lines stay crisp and the white ground reads clean.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Does it still read as a greyhound from across the room?

Yes, at medium size and above. The scribble reads as fur and muscle from a metre or two away, and the legs, chest and long muzzle hold the silhouette. Go too small and the lines start to merge, so if you're hanging it at the end of a hallway or above a sofa, size up rather than down.

Will the white background match my wall colour?

The background is a clean bright white, so it will sit forward on a mid or dark painted wall and look crisp. Against very pale off-white or magnolia walls the whites can clash slightly. If your walls are cream, a black frame or a framed canvas edge gives it a clear border and solves it.

Can I hang it with another dog print?

It works well as a pair with a second sighthound drawing in the same black and white treatment, hung side by side with a hand's width between them. Keep the second piece equally simple. Mixing it with a full-colour or highly detailed pet portrait tends to make both look unresolved.
