Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It can, if the walls are also dark and the room is short on natural light. In small rooms, hang it on the lightest wall and keep one warm lamp nearby. On a cream or pale wall it actually reads quieter than you'd expect, because the cream poster border softens the edges.

Both. This is a museum-style exhibition poster layout — "Bildnis Emilie Flöge" sits across the top, "1902" top right, and "Gustav Klimt" with the title repeated underneath. If you want just the painting with no text, this isn't the version for you.

Closer than you'd think. The dress is covered in small dots, ovals and squiggles that only fully read from about a metre away. That's why it works best above a desk, console or chest — somewhere you naturally stand close — rather than across a wide living room.
