Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It will pull the eye, which is the point — but the deep blue half of the picture balances it. On an off-white or warm plaster wall, the yellow reads as warm rather than loud, and one mustard cushion or a yellow ceramic is usually enough to tie it in. Don't add a second yellow print nearby.

Yes. Matisse divides the composition roughly into a yellow left side and a deep blue right side, with the patterned vase of lemons bridging the two. The black outlines run across both, so it reads as one scene rather than two halves. Centre it on the wall so the split doesn't sit awkwardly.

A small dining room is fine, as long as the wall is at least about 90cm wide and mostly clear. In a tight room the colour will feel more enveloping, which suits it. Skip it if the room already runs cool grey or pale blue — the mustard will fight that palette rather than warm it.
