    About This Art

After the afternoon light shifts, the bedroom suddenly has a pulse. Cream peonies open across a deep sage ground, and the whole wall settles into something quieter and a bit more considered. It tempers harder furniture — black metal, glossy paint, modern glass — and makes linen, oak and old brass look properly at home. Hang it at eye-level above a bedside table, a slim console in the hallway, or a reading chair tucked into the corner. Pair with cream lampshades, a jute or wool rug, and a single trailing plant. Skip louder florals nearby; one statement bloom in the room is enough. Printed on thick fine-art paper with a soft matte finish that flatters the muted greens.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the deep green background feel too heavy in a small bedroom?

It has weight, but the cream peonies and pale border keep it from closing the room in. In smaller bedrooms it actually warms the wall up rather than darkening it — pair with light bedding and a pale rug and it sits comfortably.

Does the typography around the image read as part of the artwork or as a label?

It's part of the design — 'Arts & Botany Design' across the top, 'The Botanical House' and 'Heritage Prints Co.' across the bottom — styled like a vintage exhibition poster. It frames the floral pattern rather than competing with it.

Can I hang this in a hallway that gets very little natural light?

Yes. The sage ground actually reads richer under warm lamp-light than under bright daylight, so a dim hallway suits it. Position a small table lamp on a console below and the cream peonies will glow against the green.
