    About This Art

Because the artist knew restraint, the blush pink hits harder here. The birds are painted in one deep navy, the background is one brushy pink, and nothing else competes. Hang it in a room that wants a bit of character without turning maximalist. It softens a plain wall in a hallway, wakes up a quiet bedroom and gives a pale sofa something to talk to. Pair it with rattan, pale oak, cream linen and a touch of brass. Keep the surrounding shelves calm — a few stoneware pieces, one plant, nothing fussy. Avoid busy florals or clashing bright wallpapers nearby; this piece wants a bit of breathing room to do its thing. Stretched over a wooden frame and ready to hang.

We're serious about canvas art, ask away

From sizing to framing and print quality, Fab's art experts break it all down—so you can find the right art for your space.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Is the pink very bright in person?

It's a warm blush pink rather than a hot or neon pink — closer to a dusty terracotta-pink than bubblegum. Because it's painted with visible brush marks, the background reads as soft and slightly uneven, not flat. Against warm woods and cream linen it settles down; against cool grey walls it will look more vivid.

Will the pattern feel too busy in a small room?

It's a busy piece, but it's built on just two colours so it reads as one strong shape rather than visual noise. In a small bedroom or narrow hallway, give it a plain wall and keep the surrounding surfaces calm — one lamp, one plant, nothing else patterned nearby — and it will feel like a focal point, not clutter.

Does it work in a bedroom over the bed?

Yes — this is one of its best spots. Go for the large size so the pattern has room to breathe above the headboard, and centre it. Pair with cream or oatmeal bedding and warm wood bedside tables. Avoid patterned bedding underneath; the wall wants to be the busy element in the room.
