    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Is the gold in this print actually metallic?

    No — the gold sphere is printed in warm gold tones rather than with metallic ink, so it reads as a rich painted gold rather than a shiny foil. It still catches the light beautifully against off-white or deep cream walls, especially under warm lamp light in the evening.

    Will the deep red feel too heavy in a small room?

    It can, if the room is already a strong colour. In a small room with off-white or chalky pale walls and dark wood furniture, the deep red and gold feel grounding rather than heavy. If your walls are already a saturated colour, this piece will likely fight the paint.

    Does it need to be hung large, or will a medium size work?

    Larger is better here. The downward triangle and gold sphere need scale to land properly — at medium and below, the composition starts to feel diagrammatic rather than altarpiece-like. If wall space is tight, treat it as a solo vertical anchor rather than part of a wider arrangement.
