    About This Art

Somewhere between Hiroshige and traditional Japanese woodblock, this landscape refuses to behave. Tall pines lean over green rice paddies while a snow-capped Mount Fuji sits quietly in the distance. The mood is settled and slow — the sort of view that pulls a busy room down a gear. Hang it in a study, a hallway or above the bed and the rest of the room follows suit. It plays nicely with oak, walnut, rattan, linen and dark ceramics, and looks especially good against soft cream or pale clay walls. Skip it if your room already runs loud with pattern or saturated colour — this one wants a little quiet to do its work. Printed on premium fine-art paper, available unframed or framed in real wood.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

How prominent is Mount Fuji in this print?

Mount Fuji sits in the upper middle distance, snow-capped and quiet, behind a row of dark blue hills and tall pines. It anchors the view without dominating it — the pines and the green rice paddies in the foreground carry most of the visual weight, so the piece reads as a calm landscape rather than a Fuji-only portrait.

Will the deep green work in a warm, cream-toned room?

Yes — the warm cream sky and beige paddies in the print bridge straight into cream and clay-painted walls, while the deep pine green adds a grounded contrast. It sits especially well alongside oak, walnut, rattan and linen, and avoids the cool, modern feel of bluer landscape art.

Does it work on its own or does it need a pair?

It reads well solo above a desk, console or headboard at eye level. If you'd like a pair, hang it with another vertical Japanese woodblock view of similar scale, or with a calm ink-wash botanical — keep the second piece quieter so this one stays the hero.
