    We like a peacock best when it comes with a little abrasion. The colour here is loud on purpose — hot pink against mustard yellow, with blue eyes and deep green wings, all painted flat with a grainy, hand-worked surface. Hang it on a wall you walk past every day: a hallway, a kitchen return wall, or above a sideboard in the living room. It gives a plain room a focal point in one move, and it holds its own on a dark or strongly painted wall as easily as on white. Pair it with deep green or mustard textiles, painted cabinetry, cane and glossy ceramics. Don't crowd it with other loud pattern, and don't bury it behind a lamp or tall plant — it needs clear wall to read properly.     Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Will the hot pink work on a white wall, or does it need a colour behind it?

    It works on both. On white the pink looks brighter and more graphic, which suits a hallway or kitchen. On a deep green, teal or plaster pink wall it settles down and feels more considered. If your walls are white, give the print clear space either side so the colour has somewhere to land.

    Is it too much for a small room?

    Not usually. Small rooms often benefit from one strong piece rather than several small ones. In a narrow hallway or a compact kitchen, a medium size at eye level gives the space a focal point without filling the wall. Keep the surrounding surfaces plain and the room reads lively, not crowded.

    Does the tail fan get lost at smaller sizes?

    The individual yellow shapes lose a little definition below about 30cm wide, though the overall fan still reads clearly from a few steps back. If you want each eye shape crisp and countable, go a size up. Medium and large sizes hold the detail comfortably at normal viewing distance.
