    About This Art

After the warm afternoon light shifts, the hallway suddenly has a pulse. That block of bright blue holds its own once the sun drops, and the red ledge and mustard base keep the wall warm instead of flat. Hang it at eye level just inside the front door, above a shoe bench, or on the wall by the key hooks where people actually pause. It sits happily with painted woodwork, stoneware pots, mustard or rust cushions and pale wood shelving. Don't crowd it with lots of small busy pieces or fussy patterned wallpaper — the joke lands better with clear wall around it. On premium fine-art paper, the flat colour blocks stay clean and the brushmarks stay visible.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the bright blue overpower a small hallway?

In a narrow hall it reads as a deliberate splash of colour rather than a takeover, because the blue is contained inside the picture. Keep the surrounding wall pale and clear of other frames and it lifts the space. If your hall is already painted a strong colour, hang it on the plainest wall you have.

Is the lettering easy to read from a distance?

Yes at medium sizes and up. The words are hand-lettered in off-white on a solid blue ground, so they hold from two or three metres away. In smaller sizes the pigeon still works but the phrase becomes something you notice up close rather than from across the room.

Does the humour wear off if I see it every day?

It sits well daily because the joke is dry rather than loud — the keys in the bowl do the work quietly. Most people put it where they pass rather than where they sit for hours, like an entry wall, a kitchen corner or beside a desk, so it stays a small daily lift.
