    About This Art

Most living rooms are missing a sky. Ceilings stay white, walls stay greige, and nothing in the room changes colour the way the light does outside at seven in the evening. Hang this above the sofa and the room gets its dusk back. The peach in the clouds warms up under lamplight after dark, and the lilac holds its own against a grey wall at noon. Linen in oat or stone beneath it, a low walnut sideboard to one side, and the olive of the marsh picks up any houseplant within reach. Give it the wall alone. Thick paint wants space, and at 60cm square the strokes read as weather rather than texture. In a north-facing room it does more than a warm paint colour ever managed. On canvas the thick strokes sit on a surface with the same give as the original painting.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

    Made responsibly
FSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the pink and lilac look too sweet in a grown-up living room?

The olive marsh and the pale grey sky do the balancing. Roughly a third of the picture is muted green and grey, so the pinks read as evening light rather than nursery colour. Keep the rest of the room in stone, oat and warm wood and it sits as calmly as a landscape should. Trouble only starts if you add more pink around it.

Which wall colour makes the sky look best?

Warm off-white is the safest. It lets the peach glow and the lilac stay soft. A mid grey also works well, because the grey in the sky links to the wall and the clouds appear to float in front of it. Avoid strong pink, purple or coral walls, which swallow the clouds, and avoid bright white in cold light, which makes the pastels look chalky.

Does it still look right under warm evening lamps?

It looks better. Warm bulbs push the peach and yellow forward and soften the lilac, so after dark the picture reads as a sunset in the room rather than a painting of one. In daylight the grey sky takes over and the mood is quieter. Cool white LED strips are the one thing to avoid, since they flatten the pinks to mauve.
