    About This Art

The black frame matters first; it tells the study you're serious. Hang it and the room gets quieter almost immediately — one dark brushstroke against warm beige gives the eye a single place to rest, which makes everything else in the room look more deliberate. It suits a desk wall, a bedside wall, or a narrow stretch of hallway where you pass it rather than stare at it. Keep the company simple: pale ash or dark wood, oat linen, a stoneware lamp base, one plant with real shape to it. Don't crowd it with busy pattern, glossy metallics or a run of bright photographs — the empty space is doing half the work, so let it stay empty. As a canvas it reads more like a hung scroll, with no glazing between you and the brushwork.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

    Made responsibly
FSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the warm beige background clash with my white walls?

It reads as a warm panel against cool white, which can look a little yellow next to bright white paint. On off-white, cream, clay or soft greige walls it settles straight in. If your walls are crisp white, a black frame and a generous white mount help the warm tone look intentional rather than accidental.

What do the characters and the red mark on the right mean?

The vertical marks are brush-written characters and the small red square is a seal, the traditional signature stamp used in East Asian ink painting. Together they follow the classic layout of a brush study. They are part of the picture's composition, so keep clear wall on that side rather than pushing the artwork into a corner.

Is it too quiet to work on its own above a sofa?

Over a wide sofa a single medium square can look lost. It works better above a desk, a bedside table, a narrow console or in a hallway. If you want it in the living room, either go up to a large size or set it beside one or two other calm ink or line pieces so the group fills the wall.
