    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Is this the colourful Kandinsky most people know, or something different?

    It's the quieter side of Kandinsky. This is a line drawing from his Small Worlds series, all black marks on off-white paper, with no colour. If you came expecting the bright circles and bold shapes, this one trades those for sharp, restrained line work.

    Will it look too plain on its own above a desk or console?

    Not in a medium size. The composition has plenty of small marks and dotted clusters across the page, so the eye has somewhere to travel. Hung at eye-level above a desk or low console, it reads as deliberate and calm rather than empty.

    Does the word KANDINSKY printed underneath feel too poster-like?

    It reads as gallery type rather than shop poster — clean spaced letters, no logo, no shouting. If you'd rather lose it, a mount with a slightly tighter window can crop the type out while keeping the drawing centred.
