    About This Art

Open the curtains at mid-morning; the mustard yellow will handle the drama. From then on the wall does the work for you, and the rest of the room can stay plain. It brings warmth into a green or off-white room without needing a single extra cushion or a new lamp. Hang it above a low sideboard, a chest of drawers or a bench seat, where you can look at it from across the room rather than brushing past it. It sits happily with mustard or green velvet, aged leather, dark stained wood, brass handles and glazed stoneware. Keep everything else around it quiet: no patterned wallpaper, no busy floral curtains, no second picture within a metre of it. On paper the tiny flower heads stay sharp and the mustard reads clean.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will something this densely patterned overwhelm a small room?

It holds up in small rooms as long as it is the only patterned thing on the wall. Keep the surrounding wall bare, choose plain curtains and a plain rug, and let the flowers be the pattern. In a snug or box bedroom, a medium size above a low chest reads as rich rather than crowded.

Does the mustard yellow background clash with green walls?

No, it usually sings against green. Deep forest, olive and sage walls all pick up the greens in the lower half of the picture, and the mustard top acts like a warm light source. On cooler grey-green walls the yellow can look slightly acidic, so warmer greens are the safer choice.

How far back do I need to stand for it to make sense?

About two metres is the sweet spot. From that distance the hundreds of small flower heads settle into a meadow. Up close you mainly see individual dots and brushmarks, which is why it works better across a room than in a narrow passage where you pass within arm's reach.
