About This Art
We like koi best when it comes with a little abrasion. This is loose, painterly brushwork — fish bodies in orange, soft pink and white, swimming through deep green and inky blue water, painted with the energy of a sumi-e study turned up loud. Hang it in a dining room or kitchen and the whole room warms up: the orange catches lamp light, the dark green grounds the wall. It works above a sideboard, a console or a small bench. Pair it with oak or walnut, stoneware in cream and rust, a leafy plant or two. Keep the wall around it simple — chalky off-white, deep green or dusty plaster pink. Don't crowd it with other busy patterns; this one wants room to move.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?
Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.
You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.
How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

What's your return policy?
If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.
We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Is the orange too loud for a small dining room?
It's saturated but not neon — the orange sits next to deep green and inky blue, which calms it down. In a small dining room it reads as one warm focal point rather than a wall of colour, especially against a chalky off-white or deep green wall.
Will it work in a kitchen with oak cabinetry?
Yes. The painterly orange and dark green play well with warm oak and walnut, and with cream or rust stoneware. Hang it on a clear wall away from the hob splash zone, ideally above a sideboard, shelf run or breakfast nook bench.
Does this piece work alongside other artwork or is it better solo?
It can anchor a small gallery wall as the hero, but it does its best work solo. If pairing, keep companions quieter — small painterly botanicals, ink studies or loose abstracts in dark green, cream or burnt orange, nothing that competes for attention.
