Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It's painted in a loose, gouache-style way, so the rooftops, lanterns and figures read as soft brush marks rather than sharp lines. From a step or two back it pulls together into a clear Kyoto street scene. Up close you'll see the brushwork — that's the charm of it.

It's a warm-leaning piece, so it sits more naturally in rooms with cream, off-white or warm grey walls than in cool grey or blue-grey spaces. If your room is on the cooler side, an oak frame and a warm lamp nearby will help bridge it without forcing the palette to fight.
