    About This Art

Some still life prints match a room. This one resets its pecking order. A painted brunch scene — figs, bread, red wine, a shuttered window onto the sea — done in warm pink, deep blue and bursts of green and orange.

What changes: the room stops being a corridor between meals and starts feeling like somewhere you'd actually sit down. Walls warm up. The table below it suddenly has a job.

Where it hangs: above a dining table, a sideboard, a kitchen banquette, or in a sunlit breakfast nook. Loves a slightly warm wall — blush, clay, off-white plaster.

What to pair: painted timber chairs, linen napkins, glazed ceramics, terracotta, a bowl of lemons that isn't trying too hard.

What not to do: don't bury it behind a hyper-modern glass dining set or compete with another loud print on the same wall. The wrapped canvas edge gives it a soft, painterly finish straight on the wall.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the pink background clash with a warm-toned dining room?

The pink in this piece is a warm coral, not a cool bubblegum, so it sits comfortably alongside terracotta, clay, blush plaster and warm off-white walls. It also holds up against deeper warm tones like rust or burgundy. It's the cool greys and chrome-heavy modern rooms it would struggle with — not warm ones.

Is the scene busy enough that it needs space around it?

Yes. There's a lot happening — table, figure, lemon tree, window, sea, foliage — so it works best as the main piece on its wall, with breathing room either side. Don't crowd it with smaller prints or a second statement work nearby. Above a dining table or sideboard, on its own, is the sweet spot.

Does it work above a dining table at standard hanging height?

Above a dining table you can hang it lower than gallery-standard — around 15–25cm above the tabletop — so seated guests feel inside the scene rather than craning up at it. The composition rewards being viewed from a chair, with the window and table edge roughly at sitting eye-level.
