    Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Is the tram in this print a recognisable Lisbon landmark?

    Yes — it reads as the Bica funicular, the small blue tram that climbs between pastel townhouses in the Bairro Alto area. It's stylised rather than photo-accurate, but anyone who knows Lisbon will recognise the street and the tram on sight.

    Will the pastel colours look washed out on a white wall?

    No. The sky blue tram and the deeper coral red on the facades give the print enough contrast to hold a white or off-white wall confidently. Pale walls actually let the pinks, yellows and blues sit at their full warmth rather than fighting them.

    Is this too busy for a small hallway?

    It's detailed, but the composition runs vertically up the tram tracks, which works with a narrow wall rather than against it. In a small hallway, go one size larger than feels safe and hang it as the only piece on that wall.
