    About This Art

This isn't wall filler. It's mustard yellow with a point of view. A modern, hand-painted illustration of Big Ben above a quiet London street, with a tiny taxi, leafy trees and a pink tower block tucked behind. It brings instant warmth and personality to a hallway, kitchen or kids' room — the kind of piece that makes people smile on the way past. Hang it on a clean off-white wall so the colours can do the talking, and pair it with painted wood, rattan or simple blue linen. Brass handles and glossy ceramics push the playful side a little further. Keep the wall around it calm — busy florals or heavy traditional pieces will fight the flat, bright shapes. Printed on premium fine-art paper, ready to frame or pop straight into a wood frame.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the colours feel too bright in a calm, neutral room?

It is a bold piece, but the off-white spaces in the illustration help it sit happily against pale grey, warm white or soft plaster walls. Treat it as the one colour moment in the room and keep the surrounding furniture quieter — painted wood, rattan and linen all soften the brights without dulling them.

Is this suitable for a child's room or a family space?

Yes. The flat, hand-painted style and friendly scale make it easy to live with for kids and adults. There is nothing scary or busy in the image — just a clock tower, a few trees and a tiny taxi — so it works above a reading chair, a low bench or a family kitchen wall.

Does it work alongside more traditional London art or vintage posters?

Not really. The flat brights and modern brushwork clash with sepia photography and classic vintage travel posters. It sits better with other contemporary illustrations, simple graphic prints, or solo on its own wall where the colours can lead.
