Try it above the sideboard; the loose brushwork will do the editing. The scene reads as a busy bar at dusk — figures, glassware, a long counter — but only when you look properly. From across the room it's mood, not detail.

How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Can you actually tell it's a pub scene, or is it fully abstract?
It reads as figures at a bar from across the room — you'll pick out the long counter, glassware and a crowd. Close up, the brushwork loosens and it feels more abstract. That's the point: it's atmosphere first, scene second, so it doesn't shout 'pub' at you every time you walk past.
Will the soft blue-grey feel cold on a cool-toned wall?
The dusty pinks and warm cream in the figures and background stop it tipping cold. It does best on a warm off-white or chalky plaster wall, and with at least one warm material nearby — oak, brass, leather or linen. On a stark cool-grey wall it can read a bit flat, so add warmth somewhere else.
Is it better above a sofa or above a sideboard?
Above a sideboard or console, every time. The composition is portrait and quite vertical, and it wants a piece of furniture beneath it to anchor the loose brushwork. Above a sofa it can feel a touch small unless you size up; behind a dining table at eye level it really comes into its own.
