    About This Art

Against linen, the deep green reads less sweet, more deliberate. The room stops feeling flat: you get depth, a sense of air above your head, and a cool green that quietly settles everything below it. Hang it where people sit still — beside a bed, behind a reading chair, at the far end of a hallway you walk down every day. It sits happily with dark stained wood, cane, chunky knits and stoneware in mushroom and clay tones, and it lifts a chalky off-white or soft green wall. Keep the wall around it uncluttered. Busy pattern, glossy chrome or a crowd of small bright prints will flatten the misty layers and cost you the depth you bought it for. As a canvas, the soft green haze reads more like a painted panel on the wall.

We're serious about canvas art, ask away

From sizing to framing and print quality, Fab's art experts break it all down—so you can find the right art for your space.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the dark greens make a small room feel gloomy?

Not usually. The pale cream sky in the upper half keeps it from closing in, and the misty grey-green middle distance reads as space rather than shadow. In a small bedroom or hallway it tends to add depth. If your room gets very little daylight, hang it opposite a window or on a lighter wall so the pale sky stays visible.

Does it still read well from a distance, or do you need to stand close?

It works at both. From two or three metres you read the big shapes: dark branches, layered green, a lit sky. Up close you get the fine leaf and twig detail. That is why a larger size suits it best — small sizes lose the branchwork and the layers start to blur into one flat green mass.

What wall colour suits it best?

Chalky off-white, warm stone and soft muted green all work well. Off-white lets the cream sky glow and keeps the greens crisp. A soft green wall makes the whole thing feel more immersive. Avoid warm pink, peach or bright terracotta walls, where the cool greys in the mist can start to look a little muddy.
