A coiled snake winds through peonies and gilded leaves on a near-black ground, finished with a small 2025 Year of the Snake line at the foot. The wall stops being a backdrop and becomes the thing people look at first.     Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

    When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Will the dark background look heavy in a small hallway?

    It actually works in its favour. A near-black print at the end of a narrow hallway gives the corridor a clear destination and makes the space feel longer, not smaller. Pair with a warm wall sconce or table lamp rather than overhead lighting and the gold detail does a lot of the lift.

    Does the 2025 Year of the Snake text date the print quickly?

    The text is small and sits at the foot of the image, so the snake and peonies do almost all of the visual work. Most people read it as a tapestry-style botanical first and a Lunar New Year piece second, which means it carries on looking right well past 2025.

    Is the snake unsettling to live with day to day?

    It's stylised rather than realistic — closer to William Morris pattern than wildlife illustration. The eye is alert but not aggressive, and the coil reads as decorative rather than threatening. That said, if snakes genuinely put you off, this isn't the piece to convince yourself with.
