    About This Art

Hang it above the bed. A headboard in pale grey linen is the one piece of furniture this wants, because the lavender in the sky picks up the grey and the soft pink lands on the pillows. The ducks fly to the right, so put the bedside lamp on that side and the whole wall reads in one direction. Keep bedding white or oat. Let the pink do the warming. Nothing patterned within a metre of it. In a north-facing bedroom the lilac holds its colour late into the afternoon, which is rare for a pastel. Go to at least 70cm square, or the birds shrink to a detail and the sky loses its lift. The canvas comes stretched over a wooden frame, ready to hang.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

    Made responsibly
FSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the pink and lilac look too sweet in a grown-up bedroom?

No, because the pink is dusty rather than sugary and the grey in the sky keeps it adult. The two green heads add a small sharp note that stops the whole thing drifting into nursery colour. Keep the bedding white or oat and the room reads as calm, not girlish. Blush walls would tip it over, so stay with off-white or grey.

What size works above a king-size bed?

Aim for 80 to 100cm square above a king. A 150cm-wide headboard carries a 90cm picture comfortably, with air either side. Hang the bottom edge about 20cm above the headboard top so the marsh grass sits just clear of the pillows. Smaller than 70cm and the two birds shrink to a detail you have to walk up to.

Does it suit a grey living room or only a bedroom?

It suits a grey living room well, especially one that feels a little cold. The lavender in the sky matches most mid greys and the pink warms the wall without needing a colour change on the sofa. Hang it above a low sofa in grey-green or pale grey linen. Avoid black metal furniture near it, which fights the softness.
