    About This Art

Every house has a landing that got painted magnolia and then forgotten. That wall is the one this wants. The pink in the clouds picks up warmth from a bulb overhead, so a spot with no window suits it better than most pictures. Hang it where you see it from the bottom of the stairs, level with your eyes as you reach the top. Soft lavender against a pale grey or chalky white wall keeps the whole stairwell quiet. A painted banister below. Nothing on the opposite wall. Two birds give the eye a direction to travel, which is what a landing lacks. Go for at least 70cm wide. Smaller than that and the sky shrinks to a postcard and the landing stays forgotten. On canvas the surface holds no reflections, which matters on a landing lit from one side.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the pink look too sweet in a grown-up bedroom?

Only if the room is already pink. The blush here sits inside a lot of lavender and grey blue, so on a white or pale grey wall it reads as soft light rather than sugar. Keep bedding white or oatmeal and let the picture hold the only warm colour. Against dove grey it looks calm and quite adult.

How wide should I go above a double bed?

Aim for roughly two thirds the width of the headboard, which for a standard double means around 90cm across. The pale tones lose presence at smaller sizes and the two birds start to look like a detail rather than the point. Hang the bottom edge about a hand's width above the headboard so it sits with the bed.

Does it work in a room with grey walls?

Grey is its best backdrop. A pale dove or warm grey picks up the lavender in the clouds and the pink then reads warmer than it does on white. Mid grey still works if the room has good daylight. Very dark charcoal is the one to avoid, since the low contrast fades into it from across the room.
