    About This Art

Kitchens go grey at six in the evening. Overhead lights come on, the worktop flattens, and everything looks like washing up. Hang this on the wall beside the drinks cupboard and that hour changes. The red-orange holds under a warm bulb, the lime yellow sharpens against white tile, and the blue of the glass stays cool enough to stop the whole wall tipping into orange. It reads as the start of something. By day it is louder, so give it a wall that catches afternoon sun rather than one that fights it. Painted wood in a plain off-white behind it, a lemon or two on the counter, nothing else in red. Friday feels closer. Stretched canvas arrives ready to hang, with no glass to catch the kitchen light.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the red-orange fight a kitchen with wooden worktops?

Oak and beech worktops are fine, because their yellow warmth sits closer to the lime than the red. Dark walnut works too and makes the blue glass look cooler. The one to watch is orange-toned pine or terracotta floor tile, where the red-orange in the picture and the floor start competing. In that case hang it higher, away from the floor, and keep the wall behind it white.

How big should I go beside a bar cart?

Match the width of the cart top, or come in just under it. On a standard cart that puts you around 40 to 50cm wide, with the bottom edge a hand above the tallest bottle. Go smaller and the glass reads as a coaster. Go much bigger and the cart looks like it belongs to the picture rather than the other way round.

Does it work in a mostly grey kitchen?

Yes, and better than in a warm one. Grey cabinets and a grey worktop pull the lime yellow forward and let the blue glass sit quietly in the middle. Warm grey is kinder than blue grey, which doubles up with the periwinkle. Add one lime tea towel or a green plant nearby and the wall stops looking like an accident and starts looking planned.
