Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It can, but be careful. Lady in Blue is a high-colour piece — deep blue, warm red, yellow and black all at once. It works best on a calm wall (off-white, chalky pale, or one solid deep tone) with restrained surrounding decor. If your room already has patterned wallpaper, busy textiles and other strong artworks, this one will fight rather than sing.

Large is the sweet spot. The composition is tall and the colour is loud — a small version loses the impact. Above a sofa, console or sideboard, aim for a piece roughly two-thirds the width of the furniture below. In a hallway, a tall large print at eye-level holds the corridor on its own.

Yes. It's brilliant in a hallway as the single thing you see when you walk in, and it suits a study or library wall where dark timber and leather can hold the red. It's less suited to bedrooms and nurseries where the colour intensity may feel too active for rest.
