    About This Art

By late afternoon, the still life stops looking decorative and starts working. The room softens, the pink wall warms up, and the mustard yellow blooms start pulling everything together.

It brings colour to a room without shouting. The lilac table and blue-checked chair give the eye places to land, so the wall feels considered rather than busy. A neutral room with one painted accent suddenly has a reason for that accent to be there.

Hang it where you sit and read — above a small sofa, a reading chair, or a console in a hallway that gets afternoon light. Eye-level works best so the table edge sits roughly level with your gaze.

Pairs well with pale oak, rattan, soft linen and a bit of brass. A stoneware lamp or a chunky ceramic vase nearby echoes the painted vase without copying it.

The canvas weave gives the thick brushwork a little extra texture up close.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the soft pink background clash with white or cream walls?

No. The pink in the print is warm and dusty rather than sharp, so it sits well against cream, off-white and pale plaster walls. On a cooler bright white wall it reads as a gentle accent rather than a fight. If your walls are themselves a strong pink, give the print a bit of breathing space around it.

Is the composition too busy for a small room?

It's busier than a minimal print but not chaotic. The lilac table and dark vase anchor the middle, so the eye has somewhere to settle. In a small room, go for a medium size rather than large, hang it solo, and keep the wall around it clear — no shelves of objects directly underneath.

Does the blue-and-white checked chair read as nautical or coastal?

Not really. The blue is a deep painterly blue against soft pink and lilac, which pulls the piece toward modern bohemian rather than coastal. It reads more like a painted interior than a seaside reference, so it works in city flats and warm homes as easily as anywhere brighter.
