We're serious about art, ask away
From sizing to framing and print quality, Fab's art experts break it all downβso you can find the right art for your space.
How do I frame an art print?
Good newsβyou donβt have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Hereβs more info about our frames and service:
- Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damageβsomething cheaper glazes just donβt do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape βkeeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? Thatβs totally fine tooβwe offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.
What makes Fab frames so good?
Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protectionβmeaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.
At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.
Thatβs why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespanβno fading, no yellowing, just art youβll love for years to come.
If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.
How do I hang art prints?
Itβs easier than you thinkβespecially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Hereβs how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little loveβabove a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painterβs tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57β60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. Thatβs itβyour space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
