Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Very readable at medium size and above. The PAPER CUTS and MATISSE wordmarks are large, well-spaced and high contrast against the off-white ground, so they hold up from a normal viewing distance of around two to three metres. At small sizes the smaller subtitle text becomes harder to read.

The bold black typography and the slight crowding of the shapes keep it from tipping into sugary territory. In a bedroom with pale wood, white linen and a few warm neutrals, it reads as playful and modern rather than childish. Avoid pairing it with pink bedding or floral patterns if you want it to feel adult.

It works better as the lead piece. The bold type and busy shapes need a bit of breathing room, so if you do cluster it, keep companions small, quiet and broadly in the same pastel family — a small line-art piece or a simple botanical works. Avoid putting it next to another statement poster.
