    About This Art

Hang this where the warm evening light hits and the deep blue sharpens. A horse in shades of midnight and slate, framed by peach poppies and gold-veined leaves on a near-black ground.

It gives a quiet room a centre of gravity. The blue cools the wall, the gold catches the lamp, and the room feels considered without trying too hard.

Works best above a bed, a console or a reading chair, on a chalky off-white wall or something deeper like ink or forest green. Eye-level, with a little breathing space around it.

Pair it with linen, brushed brass, dark wood and stoneware in muted tones. A single peach or rust cushion in the room ties the florals back in.

Don't crowd it with other big statement pieces — it wants to be the loudest thing on the wall. Framed in oak or black for the cleanest finish.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Does the dark background look too heavy in a small room?

It reads as a deep anchor rather than a black hole, because the gold linework and peach florals lift it. In a small bedroom or hallway it actually makes the wall feel more intentional — pair it with lamplight rather than overhead lights, and keep the surrounding walls calmer.

Will the gold detailing actually show up in print?

Yes — the gold is rendered as warm ochre and tan linework rather than metallic ink, so it prints cleanly on paper or canvas. It catches warm lamplight especially well in the evening, which is when the piece looks its best.

Is this better as a soloist or part of a gallery wall?

Soloist. The composition is detailed and the palette is specific, so it tends to fight with other strong pieces. Give it a clear wall — above a bed, console or reading chair — and let it carry the room on its own.
