How do I frame an art print?
Good news—you don’t have to!
All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

- We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
- Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
- Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.
Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the orange poppies clash with a warm red sofa?
It can, yes. The orange in this print is a confident, slightly warm tone, so it sits best against a more neutral sofa — oat, cream, soft grey or pale green. With a strong red sofa nearby the two warms will fight rather than complement. If your sofa is red, hang this in a different room or on the wall furthest from it.
Is this too busy for a small room?
Not necessarily. Because the cat anchors the centre, the eye has somewhere to land even with the busy meadow around it. In a small room, keep the rest of the wall and shelves clear, and let this be the one piece of pattern. That way it lifts the space rather than crowding it.
Does the cat look directly at you or off to the side?
Directly at you. The cat is walking straight towards the viewer with both eyes meeting yours, which is part of why the piece holds a room. If you prefer art where the subject looks away or is in profile, this one will feel more confronting than calming.
