    About This Art

Yes, the mid-century modern illustrator knew how to charm a room — and how to cut. One white tower, one warm terracotta red sky, and the room finds its anchor. Hang it on a quiet wall in a study, bedroom or hallway and you give the eye a single point to land on. It adds warmth to a calm, neutral room without taking it over. Pair it with pale oak or walnut, linen upholstery, a terracotta pot or two, and an off-white plaster wall. Avoid busy gallery walls, heavy florals or competing strong colours — this one wants room to breathe. Printed on premium fine-art paper with crisp whites and a clean red ground.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the terracotta red feel too strong on a small wall?

The red is warm rather than bright, closer to a clay tone than a fire-engine red, so it reads as grounded on a small wall. On a narrow hallway or above a bedside table, the tall format keeps the colour vertical and contained. Pair it with off-white walls and pale timber and it settles in rather than shouting.

Does it need a partner print or does it work on its own?

It works very well on its own as a single vertical anchor — the composition is built around one tower and one block of colour, so it doesn't need company. If you'd like a pair, choose another minimal graphic print in a similar warm or neutral palette and keep it the same scale or slightly smaller.

What furniture and wall colours work best underneath it?

Off-white, warm cream or soft plaster walls give the red room to breathe. Underneath, pale oak, walnut or a low linen-upholstered piece all work. A small terracotta pot, a black task lamp or a ceramic vase in a clay tone helps the red echo at a lower level without competing with the print.
