Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

It usually softens cool tile rather than fighting it. The gold in the painted reflections is muted, not metallic, so it reads as warm light on water. If your tile is a strong cobalt or icy grey, hang the picture on a warm off-white wall opposite the tile rather than directly beside it, so the two blues don't compete edge to edge.

Above a long sofa, a single square can look a little marooned. It's happiest above narrower furniture — a console, a sideboard, a freestanding bath, or as the centre of a small cluster with two slimmer pieces flanking it. Aim for the picture to be roughly two-thirds the width of the furniture below.

It works well with real monstera or other big-leaf plants — the painted leaves are loose and stylised enough not to read as a duplicate. Place the real plant to one side rather than directly under the picture, so the eye moves between them instead of comparing them leaf for leaf.
