    About This Art

Too much beige. Not enough deep green. This fixes that. A Morris-style botanical with a symmetrical moth at the centre, surrounded by white wild roses, dusty pink buds and dark foliage. The room shifts from quiet to layered the moment it goes up — walls feel richer, woodwork looks more deliberate, and any green or brass in the room finally has something to talk to. Hang it where you sit and read: a study, a snug, the wall behind an armchair. Pairs well with deep green or clay-coloured walls, velvet upholstery, aged leather and brass fittings. Avoid putting it next to bright modern abstracts or anything stark and minimal — it wants company that respects pattern. Printed on premium fine-art paper with a soft, matt finish.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

Made responsiblyFSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Is the background actually black, or very dark green?

It reads as very dark green rather than pure black. The foliage layers shift between deep forest and near-black, which is what gives the moth and pale flowers their lift. Against a deep green wall it will feel cohesive; against a stark white wall the dark mass will look more like a solid block.

Will the dusty pink in the wings clash with warm red or terracotta rooms?

No — the pink is muted and slightly brown-leaning, so it sits happily with terracotta, clay and warm reds rather than fighting them. It's closer to a faded rose than a modern bright pink, which is why it works in heritage schemes.

Is this too busy for a small room?

It is detailed, but the strong central symmetry stops it feeling chaotic. In a small room, hang it solo on one wall and keep the surrounding surfaces calm — plain upholstery, simple lamps, no competing patterns. Treated as the one bold thing in the room, it actually makes a small space feel considered rather than crowded.
