    Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

    Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

    You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

    How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

    Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

    Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

    Will the dark background look too heavy in a small room?

    It can actually help. In a small hallway or study, a darker piece on a darker wall makes the space feel intentional rather than cramped. If your walls are pale, hang it at eye level with a warm lamp nearby — the gold detail lifts and the near-black recedes more than you'd expect.

    Is the exhibition text part of the design or can it be removed?

    The vintage exhibition text — William Morris, Cotton Prints Exhibition, South Kensington and the dates — is part of the design and stays as printed. It's a decorative nod to old museum posters, not a real event, and it gives the piece its poster character.

    Does it work above a sofa or is it better in a hallway?

    It can work above a sofa if the sofa is dark or leather and the wall behind is deep in colour. In a pale, soft living room it tends to dominate. The format is portrait and quite tall, so hallways, studies and above a console suit it best.
