About This Art
Somewhere between vintage natural-history plates and London Underground travel poster design, this butterfly study refuses to behave. Two large moths sit in soft pink, dusty blue and cream against a blush ground, with a Kew Gardens Exhibition title block underneath.
Put it up and the room softens. The pink ground reads as a warm wash from across the room, and up close the wings turn into floral pattern and tiny eye-spots. It pulls a bedroom or dressing room into something gentler without going twee.

How do I hang art prints?
It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.
Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:
- Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
- Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
- For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.
Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.
Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall
Will the soft pink ground clash with warmer reds or oranges in my room?
It can. The blush here sits on the cool side of pink — paired with deep red sofas or warm orange walls it can look muddy. It plays best against chalky off-white, soft pink, sage, or dusty blue walls, with cream and oak furniture.
Is the title block readable from across the room?
Yes. KEW GARDENS EXHIBITION is set in a big, clean serif and reads from several metres away. BUTTERFLY ELEGANCE above it is smaller, and the District Line address line at the bottom only reads up close — which is part of the museum-poster charm.
Does it work as a single piece or only in a pair?
Strong as a soloist. The two butterflies stacked vertically and the title block underneath give it a complete poster feel. It also pairs nicely with one quieter botanical of similar size, but it doesn't need company.
