    About This Art

Somewhere between Bridget Riley and Op Art, this spiral refuses to behave. The lines start neat at the centre, then buckle and ripple as they push outwards. Hang it and a flat, quiet wall suddenly has movement in it — the sort of piece people stand in front of for a second longer than they mean to. It suits a square gap: above a low sideboard, over a desk, or on the short wall at the end of a hallway. Keep the furnishings simple and let the pattern do the talking — pale wood, cream fabric, one or two mustard ceramics. Don't put it near busy wallpaper or another strong pattern; the two will fight and both will lose. As a stretched canvas the surface is matt, so the yellow stays even under lamplight with no reflections.

    Printing, Paper and Frames

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done
Arrives framed with fixtures already attached. Two minutes with a hammer and your wall goes from blank to "where did you get that?"

    Made responsibly
FSC-certified wood and paper. Water-based, vegan inks. Crafted to order, so there's zero waste and zero guilt.

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the lines look blurry at a smaller size?

The lines are fine and closely spaced, so very small sizes can lose definition and start to look like flat texture. A medium square, roughly 50cm and up, keeps each ripple readable from across a room. If you only have a small gap, hang it somewhere you pass close by, like a hallway, so it's viewed from a metre or two.

Does the yellow work with grey furniture?

It depends on the grey. Warm greys with a brown or greige base sit happily against this mustard tone. Cool blue-greys can make the yellow look sharp and slightly acidic. If your room leans cool, bring in a warm bridge nearby — a jute rug, a tan leather cushion or a pale wood side table — and it settles down.

Is the pattern too much for a small room?

Not usually, as long as it's the only pattern on show. In a compact office or hallway it gives a plain wall something to look at and actually makes the space feel less flat. Keep the surrounding walls plain, skip patterned blinds or wallpaper on the same sightline, and give it clear space on all sides.
