    About This Art

Most bedrooms have one wall that stays bare for years. It is the one behind the bed, too long for a single square picture and too low for anything tall. A wide landscape solves it. Hung at 100cm across, the olive greens sit a hand's width above the headboard and the whole run of wall finally looks finished. Coral in the roses picks up warmth from linen bedding without asking for matching cushions. Keep the wall itself soft, a chalky off-white or warm plaster, and the grey mountains fall back the way a window view would. One lamp each side and leave the rest of that wall alone. In a north-facing room the greens hold their colour better than most, because the whole scene leans warm. Sunlit rooms make the path glow late in the day. The canvas arrives stretched and ready to hang, with nothing between you and the brushwork.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the olive greens work with a grey sofa?

It depends on the grey. A warm grey or greige sofa sits happily under it, because the browns and khaki in the hillside share that warmth. A cool blue-grey sofa pulls the other way and the greens start to look muddy. If your sofa is cool, add oat or rust cushions and the picture finds its footing again.

How wide should I go above a king-size bed?

A king-size headboard is roughly 150cm across, so aim for the picture to cover between two thirds and three quarters of that width, around 100 to 120cm. Any smaller and the mountains lose their scale and the wall looks unfinished either side. Leave about 20cm between the headboard top and the bottom edge.

Does it feel too traditional for a modern room?

The subject is old fashioned in the best sense, but the wide format and soft palette keep it from feeling like a period piece. In a modern room, keep the wall plain and warm, use a simple frame and let it be the only picture on that wall. Against clean lines the loose brushwork reads as relaxed rather than fussy.
