    About This Art

Some botanical study prints match a room. This one resets its pecking order. The dark green leaves are heavy enough to become the first thing you look at, while the cream background keeps everything around it feeling light. Put it up and a quiet corner suddenly has a focal point: the near-black leaf shapes give a pale wall the depth that cushions and rugs can't. Hang it above a sideboard, between two windows, or on a hallway wall where you pass it daily. Pair it with linen, pale oak, stoneware and plants in real pots. Don't crowd it with other leafy botanicals or busy patterned wallpaper — the loose brushwork needs plain wall around it to read properly. On fine-art paper the brush edges and thin pencil lines stay crisp.

Quality you can see (and feel)
Printed using museum-grade giclée technology on thick, matte art paper - no glare, just soft, natural colour that looks beautiful.

The kind of detail and depth that makes people lean in closer. Hand-framed in solid FSC-certified wood. Never cheap MDF or plastic-y veneers.

Won't fade, even in direct sunlight
Premium acrylic glaze with UV blocking keeps colours vibrant for 100+ years. Hang it anywhere - bedroom, hallway, that sunny spot above the sofa - without worry.

    Unbox, hang, done

How do I frame an art print?

    Good news—you don’t have to!

All of our prints are available professionally framed and ready to hang, so you can skip the trip to the framing shop and get straight to the fun part: styling your space. Here’s more info about our frames and service:

    • Your choice of timeless frames - natural wood, black, white, brown, silver and, of course, gold.
    • We use shatter-resistant acrylic glazing keeping delivery costs down and shielding your print from fading or sun damage—something cheaper glazes just don’t do.
    • Every frame is carefully sealed on the back using acid-free, archival tape —keeping dust and moisture out and your print beautifully preserved.
    • Hanging hardware already attached so just unbox, hang, and enjoy.

Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

What makes Fab frames so good?

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

At Fab, we do things differently. Our frames are thoughtfully built to preserve and protect your artwork for the long haul. We use FSC-certified wood, 100% acid-free materials, and a UV-protective glaze to keep your print looking vibrant for decades.

That’s why our prints have an 80+ year archival lifespan—no fading, no yellowing, just art you’ll love for years to come.

If you're investing in art you love, it's worth framing it right.

How do I hang art prints?

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

    1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.

    2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.

    3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

Will the dark leaves look too heavy in a small room?

Not usually. Because more than half the picture is warm cream, the dark leaves read as a few strong shapes rather than a block of colour. In a small room, hang it on the plainest wall you have and leave space around it. If the room is already dark, go one size down.

Does it need to sit near real plants?

It works either way. One real plant nearby, ideally in a terracotta or stoneware pot, echoes the shapes without repeating them. If you'd rather not, the piece stands on its own — just avoid lining it up with other leaf prints, which makes the wall feel like a garden centre display.

What wall colour suits it best?

Chalky off-white, warm white, oat and soft sage all work, because the cream background blends and the dark green leaves stay sharp. Mid-grey walls are fine too. Deep green or charcoal walls are the ones to avoid — the leaves lose their outline and the piece flattens out.
