    About This Art

The oak frame matters first; it tells the kitchen you're serious. From there, this Paris watercolour does the friendly work — Eiffel Tower, croissant, café sign, tulips, all painted with a loose hand on a soft cream ground.

The room lifts. A plain wall stops feeling like a waiting area and starts feeling like somewhere a household actually lives. The bright blue script pulls the eye in, the warm orange and pink keep things cheerful.

Best above a small console in the hallway, beside a kitchen door, or over a child's desk. It also earns its place in a breakfast nook where mornings need a bit of charm.

Pair with painted timber, rattan, white ceramics and a jug of fresh flowers. Cream linen tea towels and a pale oak shelf finish it off.

Don't bury it behind dark heavy furniture — this one wants a bit of breathing room. Stretched on a wooden frame and ready to hang.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Is the cream background actually cream, or closer to white?

It's a warm cream, not a clean white — closer to oat or soft ivory. That's why it sits comfortably against painted timber and warm walls rather than feeling stark. Against a very cool grey wall it'll read warmer; against a true white wall the cream edge of the print will be visible.

Will this look childish in a grown-up kitchen?

No, as long as the rest of the room is calm. The motifs are friendly but the painting is loose and confident, not cartoonish. In a kitchen with painted timber, rattan and a few real flowers it reads as charming. In a glossy modern kitchen with chrome and gloss black, it'll feel out of place.

Are the Boulevard Saint-Michel plaques accurate to the real Paris street signs?

They follow the look of the classic Paris enamel street plaques — green border, blue inner panel, white lettering — but they're hand-painted in watercolour rather than a strict reproduction. The spirit is right; the edges are loose and friendly, not technical.
