Prefer to frame it yourself? That’s totally fine too—we offer unframed prints in standard and A-sizes that fit most frames you can buy.

Not all frames are created equal. Many cheap frames are made with acidic materials or glazes that lack UV protection—meaning your beautiful print could fade, discolor, or deteriorate over time.

It’s easier than you think—especially since our framed prints arrive ready to hang straight out of the box.

Here’s how to do it in a few simple steps:

1. Pick a wall that needs a little love—above a sofa, bed, desk, or entryway works great.
   
   
2. Make sure the space suits the size of your print (our size guide can help). Use painter’s tape or a pencil to mark where you want the top of the frame to sit.
   
   
3. For single prints, aim for eye level (around 57–60 inches from the floor). Every Fab framed print comes with hanging hardware already attached.

Use a picture hook, nail, or adhesive wall strips, depending on your wall type and the weight of the frame. That’s it—your space just got a whole lot more beautiful.

Bonus tip: For a gallery wall, lay your prints on the floor first to plan your layout before committing to the wall

The tower is the clear focus and sits roughly centred. The Haussmann building on the right is a soft framing element — same beige and stone tones, painted with the same loose washes, so it supports the view rather than competing with it.

On bright white, the washes can feel a touch quiet. It reads best on warm off-white, chalky plaster, or pale stone walls, where the beige and stone tones get something to lean against. An oak frame helps add a little definition.

It works above a bed in a medium size if the bed is single or small double, especially as part of a vertical pair. Above a wider bed, you'd want a larger print or a pair to hold the wall — otherwise the tower can feel a bit lost.
