    About This Art

With a Paris streetscape, scale decides whether the hallway wakes up. Go too small and it reads as a postcard. Go medium and the rooftops and Eiffel Tower behind it start doing real work on the wall.

The room shifts because the colour is doing one thing only: deep blue line on a near-white ground. That single decision keeps everything around it honest — the timber, the linen, the cream walls all stay where they are while the print adds a clear point of focus.

It suits a hallway, a study or the wall at the foot of a bed. Anywhere a single piece can hold the eye without needing company.

Pairs well with pale oak, linen, cream upholstery, brass fittings and a marble or stoneware surface nearby. Travel objects in moderation — one or two, not a shelf full.

What not to do: don't crowd it with other busy travel posters or photography. The whole point is the calm white space around it. Stretched over a wooden frame and ready to hang, with framed canvas options if you want a more finished edge.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Is the 'Paris, France' handwritten caption part of the print?

Yes. The script caption sits centred along the bottom edge and is part of the artwork. It is small and tonal rather than loud, so it reads as a signature rather than a tourist label, but if you prefer no text at all this one will not suit.

Does the blue read as navy or a brighter blue on the wall?

It sits between the two. The line work is a deep blue with a slight warmth, not a flat navy and not a bright cobalt. Against a white or off-white wall it stays crisp; against a cream or beige wall it warms up a touch and feels softer.

Will the white background look stark next to warmer interiors?

Less than you might expect. The off-white ground is broken up by loose brushwork, so it does not read as a hard rectangle of white. In warmer rooms with oak, linen or cream walls, a white or oak frame helps bridge the temperature.
