    About This Art

Against pale plaster, the soft pink reads less sweet, more deliberate. This watercolour view of a Montmartre side street, with Sacre-Coeur in the distance, gives a room a gentle holiday feeling without tipping into kitsch.

A quiet room with cream walls and natural light wakes up around it. The pink and green pull through to cushions, throws, ceramics — small things, not a full repaint. The dome and the cobbles do the heavy lifting; the rest of the room can stay calm.

It sits well above a bed, a slim console in a hallway, or a low bookshelf in a reading corner. Hang at eye level, with a little breathing room on either side.

Pair with linen, cane, painted wood, and ceramics in white or sage. A small posy of dried flowers nearby works.

Keep away from heavy, dark furniture and busy patterned wallpaper — the watercolour wash needs air around it. Stretched as a ready-to-hang canvas with a soft matte finish.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Will the soft pink dominate the room, or is it a quiet print overall?

It reads quiet overall. The pink townhouse is one element among cream pavements, white dome and green foliage, so the print feels gentle rather than pink-led. On a cream or off-white wall it sits softly and lets the rest of the room stay calm.

Can I tell what city this is, or is it a generic European street?

The white dome in the distance is recognisably Sacre-Coeur, the basilica at the top of Montmartre, so it reads clearly as Paris to anyone who knows the city. For others, it still reads as a charming European street scene without needing a caption.

Does the cobbled street pull the eye left or right?

The street curves gently up the centre and slightly to the left, leading the eye toward the dome. The pink townhouse anchors the right. It's a balanced composition, so it works centred above a bed or console without feeling lopsided.
