    About This Art

Call it cheerful if you want; we call it better walls. A hand-drawn run of Barcelona towers and balconies in soft green, warm red, dusty blue and sandy stone.

Put it up and a quiet wall gets a story. The vertical stack of facades pulls the eye upwards, which makes low ceilings feel taller and narrow walls feel intentional rather than awkward.

It does its best work in hallways, studies, stairwells and the corner of a living room that needs something to look at. Hang it at eye-level on its own, or as the hero of a small travel-themed cluster.

Pair it with oak or walnut furniture, linen upholstery, brass fittings and a few stoneware pieces in warm browns. Plain plaster or chalky off-white walls let the colour do the talking.

Don't sit it next to another loud, full-colour cityscape — two heroes in one room cancel each other out. The canvas softens the ink lines slightly and gives it a more painterly feel up close.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?

Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.

When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.

Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

Yes to both. Every canvas comes stretched over solid wood and ready to hang - hardware's already on the back, just hang it up.

You can choose unframed (modern, minimalist look - the print wraps around the edges) or add our real wood frame for a more polished, gallery finish. Either way, it's ready to go straight on your wall. No assembly, no extra trips to the frame shop.

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?

Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.

Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

Still not sure? Contact our team with a photo of your space and we'll tell you exactly what size will work.

    What's your return policy?

If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.

We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.

Are these real Barcelona buildings or a stylised mix?

It's a stylised illustration inspired by the towered, balconied facades you see in Barcelona's older streets. The towers, terracotta roofs and shuttered windows are recognisable in feel rather than being a portrait of one specific building. Good fit if you love the city's character without wanting a literal postcard.

Will the red tower feel too loud in a calm room?

The warm red is balanced by the soft green, dusty blue and sandy stone, so it reads as one colour in a wider mix rather than a single bold hit. In a calm room with linen, oak or plaster walls it warms things up without taking over. Best avoided right next to other strong reds.

Is this better as a solo piece or in a gallery wall?

It works both ways. Solo, the tall vertical composition anchors a narrow wall, between windows or above a console beautifully. In a gallery wall it can sit as the hero with smaller, quieter travel sketches or line studies around it — just don't pair it with another busy, full-colour cityscape.
