About This Art
Most bedrooms lose the sun by mid afternoon. The wall behind the bed goes flat and grey, and no amount of bedside lamp fixes it. That is the gap this fills. Peach and terracotta across a metre of wall hold the last hour of daylight on the plaster long after the real thing has gone. Hang it wide above the headboard, the bottom edge a hand above the pillows. Lilac squares pick up a grey painted wall without a fight, and the olive lines give a white one some structure. Keep bedding plain. Oat linen or washed white, one cushion in rust at most. Nothing patterned within reach of it. In a north-facing room it does more work than the paint colour will. On canvas the brushwork texture reads from across the room, and it hangs straight on the wall with no glass between you and the colour.

Are Fab canvas prints good quality?
Absolutely. We use museum-grade canvas (the same stuff galleries use) stretched over solid wood frames. The canvas is thick enough that you can't see through it, and we wrap the print around the edges so there's no white border it looks finished from every angle.
When people see it on your wall, they'll assume you bought it at a gallery, not online.
Does it come ready to hang? Is it available framed?

How do I know what size will actually work in my space?
Here's the rule of thumb: your canvas should take up about 2/3 to 3/4 of the width of your furniture (like a sofa or bed). So if your couch is 180cm, you want something around 100-120cm wide.
Too small of a canvas looks lost on the wall. Too big overwhelms the room. If you're between sizes, go bigger it's almost always better to have impact than to have something that disappears.

What's your return policy?
If it shows up and you're not happy with it, you have 99 days to return it for a full refund—no questions asked.
We've been doing this long enough to know that sometimes a piece just doesn't work in your space, and that's fine. Just email us and we'll sort it out.
Will the peach fight a grey bedroom wall?
No, it helps. The lilac grey squares share a family with most warm greys, so the wall and the picture agree before the peach even arrives. Cool blue greys are harder. Against those the peach turns orange and the room splits in two. Test a swatch of your wall colour beside the lilac, and if they sit calmly together the rest follows.
How wide should it be above a king-size bed?
Aim for two thirds of the headboard width or more. On a standard king that means around 120cm across, which puts the bottom edge a hand above the headboard and the sun roughly level with a standing eye. Smaller than a metre and the squares tighten up, the tree shrinks to a mark, and the wall looks unfinished either side.
Does the grid make a small room feel busy?
Less than you would expect. The squares are large and the colours sit close together, so from across a room the grid reads as texture rather than pattern. Where it does get busy is next to other pattern. Keep the bedding or the sofa plain and it stays calm, add a striped throw or a patterned rug beneath and the lines start to compete.
